La Liberata is perched on a hill with breathtaking views of the Sibillini mountains, the Gran Sasso d’Italia and the Adriatic Sea.
The mansion was built in 1700 by a local aristocrat for his mistress. This explains the rich frescoes on the ground floor. It was lived in until about 30 years ago, when it was abandoned and forgotten – a tear on the cheek of time. We found it by chance seven years ago on the hill and fell in love with it. Since then, it has been renovated and furnished.
The Mansion is a private property. We use it for family and friends and occasionally rent it out. We have collected the furniture from all over Europe, including Paris, Bruges in Belgium, Italy, Holland and England. Please treat everything with love and respect.
La Liberata accomodates max. 18 people, if there are little children even 20.
The small, authentic town is located in the Marche hills, a landscape that is simply a symphony. Here the tourist is a guest welcomed in all the bars and restaurants.
Petritoli has an excellent infrastructure, including several bars and restaurants, five art galleries, a hospital, a police station, a baroque theatre and several palaces, such as the Palazzo Vitali and the Palazzo Mannocchi.
There are also various supermarkets, a butcher’s, a bakery, a pharmacy, a shoe shop and a post office, as well as the best Osteria within a radius of many kilometers.
